After a few hours of blog crawling, I stumbled on a photo that almost made me cry.
Absolutely touching.
They've met in 1950, became lovers in 1952, moved in together in 1953 (Valentines day).
It was half a century of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP when they married on June 16, 2008.

after a month of the same year, Del died.
She died on the 27th of August 2008. contented. cause she got to see the day.
Perhaps for them, half a century of waiting is well worth a MONTH of MARRIAGE.

i have to disagree. for me, they've long been married thru their commitment to each other. the month of marriage is just making their love known to the world. :)
