i-Dare

Our anniversary is on November. Pretty close now and I haven't got a clue where to bring her.
(note to self: travelling by plane is not an option at the mo)

GF and I would usually do something special ofcourse.
Couple of years ago, we went to a Tagaytay Bed and Breakfast - 'The Boutique'
I must say, this is one of the best bed and breakfast I've been.

There are 7 different rooms each has an interesting name to suit your emotion.
I Love,
I Lust,
I Surrender,
I Escape,
I Desire,
I Dream and...
I Dare.

Feeling bold that time, I booked the "I Dare" room package.
(Now I'm thinking, I should've booked the 'I Lust' room - go figure)

True to it's name, we stepped in and found a white soft bed in the center with a head board looking very regal, loads of pillows on top, a theme of neutral colors, a mixed scent of mint and newly washed linens, the spectacular view of taal from the bed and the shower (shocked!) Not that I plan to shower with gf with the lake as backdrop. I'm not into that kind of PDA.

I called up reception and requested for their latest DVD's to test the LCD mounted in front of us.
After hours of cuddling, testing the LCD and the Bed - (we dozed off from the tiring drive *grins* not just yet)
We went out and had a nice dinner at Buon Giorno. A few drinks after, we went back and get this - about 10ish in the evening, reception called up asking if we're ready for the Hot choco and Churros.
Cool breeze of tagaytay, soft duvet, dim lights, LCD tv, hot choco and churros beside her half naked body.
I can definitely stay here and not come out for a week!

The next morning, Tagaytay's sunshine and a knock on the door woke me up. Breakfast in Bed is served.

We're going on our 5th anniversary and I'ts hard to think of something that could top the boutique experience.
Last year, it was dinner at Vivere in Alabang - Piano playing in the background and the City lights may have raise it a few notch higher but not close. This is pressure.

Manila and My disorder

6679 horrendous miles from UK to Manila started creeping my mind.
I'm stuck in a flying metal tube for 14 hours, 35000 feet above sea level.
I flicked the pages of the airline magazine as I tried to shift my mind off flying.
Still, I can clearly hear the engine's sound.

Turned on my ipod and played my dependable Vonda Shepard's Ally Mcbeal songs - nope doesn't help either.
Okay, that album used to soothe my mood while driving and it suddenly doesn't work?!
Inflight video should do it - browsed thru tv series and found FRIENDS. After a few minutes, I realised that somehow FRIENDS wasn't funny anymore. My hands are sweating, Breathing is difficult.
Something's wrong with me.

I looked around and found that everyone seemed relaxed. Except me.

Flying is not my thing.

4, 5, 6 hours passed... too scared to sleep cos I might wake up discovering half the cabin's gone.

As we approach China's airspace, I remembered being thankful for picking the aisle seat days before my flight, cause I'm too fucking scared to randomly get a window seat. Beside me, my friends were looking thru the window trying to find the himalayas, while there I was seated in the aisle counting the minutes.
Can't move. Cant even smile for the camera.

When the fasten seatbelt sign light up, that's it! I started saying my prayers.
When the turbulence gets worst, I started saying the Apostle's Creed.
I felt the plane ascend and the altitude says 37100 Shit! I swear ha, this is the highest I've been! Konti nalang space na!
Even my friends went a bit scared there cos the air's too thin - its hard to breath.
Dunno if it's just me with too much Air Crash Investigation tv or the Engineer must've forgotten to adjust the cabin pressure! (medyo paranoid na ko nito)

No Kidding! pati 'Hail Holy Queen', 'Angel of God' at 'Memorare' pinray ko.. nung ayaw paren kinanta ko na ang 'Our Father'

7 hours seems like forever!
I'm holding on to my Manila thought.

It felt bad. Seriously.

To the point that I even consider turning down projects with long flights as this.
I'd rather travel by Ship or Train or BUS! even if it takes me a month to reach my destination. It's that bad.

I know what statistics say.
I know how highly advanced aviation is.
I know if it's time.. it's time.
I heard all of it. Believe me.

But it's fear.
No matter how extremely hard I convince myself that flying is the safest way of travel.
It just doesn't work for me.

Flight status shows were in Philippine air space now. The pilot announced the start of descent.
I composed myself pretending that I handled it like a PRO.
My ears popped. I liked it. it's a good sign, we're about to land
I quickly took a glimpse of Manila's skyline. It greeted me with a layer of smog.
Touchdown.
My heart skipped and I finally smiled.... after 14 hours.

All my fears gone.

Manila is how I remembered it. Hot, humid, polluted but I love it.

I'm back. I'm home.

Top or Bottom

On steamy conversations about gay men and women, the question ‘TOP or BOTTOM’ would one way or another cross the discussion. As it did me before.

When a friend casually asked…
so are you a top or a bottom?

I stopped and think in a very ‘sensual’ way.

I'm a top. Always have been.

Although being ‘the bottom’ is a popular choice. Perhaps not knowing what will happen next is already exciting as it is! Laying there relatively relaxed, gives me more grip as I kiss and meet her gaze, feeling her long brown hair fall on mine. So putting her in control and feeling her body move against me is quite captivating.

Then again, there’s something about control that triumphs over submission. Not to mention the steamy and stimulating drive of power that comes with it. I call the shots. I speed up or gear down whatever suits her fancy. I move as she waits impatiently. I tease til she gets to that ‘come-here-baby’ moment where she pulls and moans softly against my ear…..
Deep breathes..

A few ticks later, earth called me back… ano na? top or bottom?

Without batting an eyelash I answered with a squeak: Top! Definitely! ;)

Coffee and Commitment

When I'm feeling like
there's no love coming to me
And I have no more love to give.

When I'm feeling separated from the world
And cut off from myself
When I'm feeling annoyed by every little thing
Because I'm not getting what I want

I'll remember that there is an infinite amount of love available to me.
And I'll see it in YOU.
Just then I'll know I am complete within myself...
So I'll never have to look at anyone to complete me.

miss, pwede magtanong?

miss, pwede magtanong?
single ka ba? or in a relationship na?
ano number mo?
san ka nakatira?
ang sarap mo kausap
ang saya mo kasama
nakaka adik ka!

miss, pwede magtanong?
tayo na ba?
ayoko magassume
pero sobrang sweet mo
kinikilig ako!

miss, pwede magtanong?
sigurado ka ba?
hindi ito madali
hindi rin legal
tayong 2 lang
kaya mo ba?

miss, pwede magtanong?
ganon parin ba?
ang tagal na pala non
sana di ka magsawa.
tulad nung simula
sana napa-smile parin kita  :)

Slingshot

If the english have afternoon tea-times. Straigh-ish had an afternoon coffee time yesterday. I headed out with coffee and a cinnamon pastry in mind. Found myself a quaint little coffee shop where chairs and tables are setup outside. The weather was lovely! it was just glorious sunshine the wholeday! Best time for people-watching (which became my favorite hobby here, tbh)

While chatting with friends, I spotted a group of girls and a lez couple across the street who was reaaally getting it on! PDA kung PDA! (nainggit tuloy ako! haaays).  Both HOT!   I cant decide who to take home! haha. The outfit was OTT for me though, bit like 'the runaways' porma with super dark eyeliners and loads of piercings. Anyhoo, I stared for a few minutes trying to find something they have in common with lez pinays and there it was!!

Hanging between their colliding bodies.
Tossed and ignored like something unimportant.
Patiently waiting to be noticed.

The Magic "Sling Bag"                 **cue in background voices: oooooooh**
The bag that every lez have!!!     **cue in audience clapping**

Muntik ko ng sabihin: Apirr!!! favorite ko rin yan!

It's looks fab! I instantly get bag envy! It has a vintage look going on. not too big, not too small. similar to a newspaper-boy-bag but not quite. I need to have one! It's a sling bag! It's hip. It's funky. It's functional! And I'm a lez! that gives me more reasons right? it's like a "little black dress" for straight girls! I can almost hear my keys, wallet, phone and perfume screaming: get me that ferrari! :)
Ok calm down girl. I can't walk to them and ask:
Where did you get that bag? That would be too embarassing for me. It has been decided then, tomorrow after ofc hours, I'll go straight to the mall and find it. I can imagine myself walking in High Street with gf, with that sling bag, proudly strap in my body - happy and unignored.
.... hindi pa tapos ang kwento.

It must have been me staring too long (whilst in my bag daydream world) when I think blondie lez noticed. She was staring back now! panicky, I flashed my uber sweet dimpled smile (which I practice all the time for emergencies like this).  Surprised, she smiled back!! there you go! May moment kmi!!! kaya lang dumating agad ang gf nya at PDA na ulit sila.. our love story was the shortest in lez history... I'm absolutely sharing this to my lez blog world.
